"I would be honored if MetMin would share my story. I know without a doubt in my mind that God sent MetMin into my life. They had told me that saw goodness in me that I couldn’t see myself. The staff let me know that if I wanted to seek a new path to let them know. I will never forget the times they came to me and just asked if I was ready yet.  Their words will always be a part of my recovery. With passion in their voice they told me that I didn’t belong on the streets.  I took what they said and held on to it with everything in me. In just a few days I will be 6 months sober. I’ve been blessed with a good job. My boss believes in me so much that he helped me purchase a truck last week. I fall more in love with this life everyday. I could never tell you all how much I love and appreciate what you all did for me. Please know that you all make a difference in this world. If in my journey I can just help one still struggling with addiction all of this will have been worth it to me. Please never give up on what you all do. You made a impact on my life and whoever I meet on my recovery journey leads straight back to MetMin and the sacrifices you all make every day to help others like me struggling with addiction. Whenever I have a chance to tell my story MetMin will always be mentioned as the one place who never gave up on me."
